The Boca Ciega Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is located in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida. Boca Ciega is a bay separating the western coast of the Pinellas Peninsula from Long Key near the mouth of Tampa Bay. The name is Spanish meaning blind mouth as given by early explorers who sailed around several small islands to reach the safe harbor of the bay.
The Boca Ciega Chapter was founded in 1947 and has over a sixty year history of supporting the mission of the National Society in
promoting
historic preservation,
education, and
patriotism.

Boca Ciega Chapter is a diverse membership of Daughters volunteering together to achieve the common goals of the National and State
societies. It is the diversity of membership that makes the Boca Ciega Chapter unique and welcoming to women of all ages. Boca Ciega
is a proud sponsor of the Boca Ciega Society, Children of the American Revolution.
